A Leading Medical and Research institution is currently seeking an IT Project Manager /Project Coordinator for a 6-12 months contract on a part time basis of 2 days a week onsite to manage the fit-out of new office space, with a particular focus on IT readiness and network connectivity.
About the Role
IT Project Manager / Project Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the successful planning and coordination of IT infrastructure for new offices. This includes ensuring that network connectivity, cabling, and associated infrastructure components are ready for occupancy and operational use.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate the IT readiness of a new office fit-out project.
Liaise with internal technical teams, external vendors, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of network and infrastructure components.
Track project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders.
Serve as the main point of contact for day-to-day project issues.
About You
Previous experience as a Project Manager or Project Coordinator, on IT infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of network and infrastructure technologies (e.g. cabling, Wi-Fi, connectivity) without needing to be hands-on.
Proven ability to coordinate and manage multiple stakeholders and vendors.
Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
