About the role
- Coordinate the end-to-end processing and maintenance of a specific payroll portfolio within our Payroll Services and HCM systems.
- Administer end-of-pay and end-of-month processes, including reconciliations and remitting third-party payments.
- Prepare and process termination pays, redundancies, and out-of-cycle payments as required, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Produce essential payroll reports for Finance teams and generate payroll data outputs for seamless interfacing with the ERP system.
- Maintain data integrity and compliance within all payroll services systems, adhering to process delivery SLAs.
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees and managers, effectively resolving payroll-related queries.
- Contribute as an agile support across a spread of needs, including a number of significant projects and upcoming initiatives like same-day superannuation.
- Utilise your expertise in Micropay and/or Kronos payroll systems to manage various pay cycles (weekly, fortnightly, monthly).
About you
- Demonstrated end-to-end payroll experience (senior level support required) in a complex, high-volume environment.
- A comprehensive understanding of Modern Awards, general payroll practices, and relevant legislation and statutory requirements.
- Proven experience with at least one of the following payroll systems: Micropay or Kronos.
- Highly developed analytical, innovative, and self-motivation skills, with the ability to jump right into tasks without extensive hand-holding.
- Exceptional customer service abilities, capable of providing clear and helpful responses to employees and managers.
- A strong team player with excellent communication skills, adaptability, and resilience, ready to collaborate effectively within a large team.
- A keen eye for detail, ensuring master data accuracy and adherence to payroll compliance standards.
