We’re looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to support a busy HR and Finance team through a critical period of change. You’ll be responsible for processing payroll for over 140 employees across multiple awards, with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and excellent service delivery.
About the Role
Working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, this hands-on role involves processing fortnightly and adhoc pay runs, maintaining accurate records in Micropay and Humanforce, and supporting the broader team with payroll enquiries and employee administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Process fortnightly payroll for 140–150 staff across 4 awards.
Manage adhoc payments and ensure timely statutory reconciliations and payments.
Maintain clean and accurate data in payroll and HR systems (Micropay & Humanforce).
Be the first point of contact for payroll queries, escalating where needed.
Manage on-boarding and off-boarding documentation.
What You’ll Bring:
Experience in a complex payroll environment using Sage Micropay & Humanforce.
Sound understanding of industrial instruments and award interpretation.
Ability to work autonomously, meet deadlines, and adapt to change.
Strong communication and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
Advanced MS Office skills and comfort with online platforms and databases.
