Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an aspiring, driven IT professional to join a premier, large-scale enterprise organisation as a Junior Analyst within our Disaster Recovery and Service Continuity team. This role is the perfect opportunity for an enthusiastic, junior professional with 1–3 years of experience and an eagerness to learn more in IT to anchor their early career in enterprise technology operations.
In this role, you will be the bridge between governance and action, working closely with various technical application teams to safeguard the organisation. Your primary focus will be supporting the documentation, tracking, and statistical reporting of disaster recovery preparedness and effectiveness for critical enterprise systems. If you are highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to expand your understanding of infrastructure resilience and compliance, this is the ideal next step for your career.
Key Criteria
1–3 years of experience within an IT operations or corporate technology environment (ideal for early-career professionals).
Tertiary IT degree or a closely related technical qualification.
ITIL certification or a strong foundational knowledge of ITIL frameworks is highly preferable.
Prior exposure to or understanding of Incident Recovery, Incident Management, or Disaster Recovery/Management processes.
Experience in technical documentation and reporting, with exceptional attention to detail.
A baseline familiarity with cloud environments (AWS and Azure) as well as physical server concepts.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to comfortably engage with diverse technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder Engagement & Documentation: Work directly with application teams across the enterprise to document end-to-end disaster recovery blueprints, capturing how applications are recovered from both physical and cloud-based (AWS & Azure) environments.
Regulatory Compliance: Support the planning, coordination, and execution steps for mandatory quarterly disaster recovery testing across the top 50 critical enterprise services.
Master Plan Upkeep: Keep the Master Execution Plan and disaster recovery management systems accurate and up to date based on the outcomes of scheduled exercises.
Data & Statistical Reporting: Manage the tracking and statistics reporting function of issues arising from exercises, documenting successes and failures to adapt future strategies (Note: this role focuses on reporting and administration, not technical fixes).
Governance Adherence: Ensure strict alignment with all internal compliance gateways, government regulatory requirements, and IT policies.
