An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Service Continuity professional to join a leading enterprise organisation. In this role, you will play a critical part in keeping the organisation safe by providing robust IT Service Continuity governance and compliance. You will be responsible for maintaining a high state of readiness, managing Disaster Recovery (DR) planning, and coordinating complex test exercises to meet the shifting demands of businesses, customers, and regulators in a dynamic environment. This is a fantastic chance to influence technology operations at scale and ensure real resilience capability across the enterprise.
Key Criteria
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
10+ years of experience in a large-scale, complex systems technology operating environment.
2+ years of dedicated Business Continuity (BC) or Disaster Recovery (DR) experience within an enterprise environment.
A diverse and strong understanding of technology systems.
Proven experience in the automation of disaster recovery processes and achieving service resilience.
Strong communication and stakeholder influencing skills.
A Tertiary IT degree or equivalent qualification.
Key Relationships
Key Responsibilities
DR Planning & Execution: Formulate and execute Disaster Recovery plans, managing scope, stakeholder engagement, and the seamless coordination of test exercises.
Governance & Compliance: Maintain rigorous adherence to internal governance policies, procedures, and compliance gateways.
Strategy Development: Assist in evolving IT service continuity policies, standards, and strategies for enterprise technology systems.
Master Execution Plan: Actively maintain the Master Execution Plan to ensure seamless, successful deployment during a live Disaster event.
Operational Readiness: Review upcoming technology projects to guarantee IT Service Continuity requirements are embedded early.
System Administration: Manage the Disaster Recovery Management System, including user access, workflows, data integrity, and reporting.
Issue & Trend Tracking: Track, assign, and report on technical and business issues arising from DR exercises directly to Technology Leadership.
Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing updates to processes to ensure a high-quality, up-to-date DR/SC capability.
