We are seeking a proactive, high calibre Senior Business Analyst to act as a vital bridge between our technology division and core business portfolios. In this role, you will analyse and map business processes, define robust system requirements, and facilitate cross-functional workshops. Your expertise will directly drive strategic technology initiatives that elevate our customer experience, boost engagement, and deliver superior operational value.
As a trusted service delivery professional, you will champion our project management methodologies, using your deep technical insight and exceptional stakeholder management skills to ensure the seamless execution of IT strategy, architecture, and solution delivery.
Candidates must have critical retail & POS experience (Mandatory)
- Recent Retail Sector Expertise: You must have dedicated experience working within the retail, wholesale, or consumer driven sectors within the last 2 to 3 years.
- POS Implementation Track Record: Proven, hands on experience successfully delivering multiple Point of Sale (POS) uplift, migration, or implementation projects across a complex retail network.
- End-to-End Business Analysis: Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver comprehensive BA artifacts, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Acceptance Criteria, Requirements Traceability Matrices, As-Is/To-Be process maps, data mapping, and RAID logs.
- Project Scoping & Planning: Utilise established Project Portfolio Management (PPM) frameworks to ensure initiatives are accurately scoped, estimated, documented, and aligned with organisational goals.
- Relationship & Delivery Management: Function as a proactive partner to the business, translating complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service.
Skills & Background
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years as an IT/Business Systems Analyst, combined with at least 3 years of experience in an IT management or delivery-focused role.
- Methodologies: Full project lifecycle exposure with demonstrated experience applying Agile, Waterfall, Prince2, or Incremental methodologies.
- Vendor Management: Proven capability in executing Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, alongside effective third-party vendor management.
- Communication & Leadership: Outstanding stakeholder management, negotiation, and workshop facilitation skills. Experience leading or mentoring small-to-medium project teams is highly advantageous.
- Mindset: A holistic, critical thinker with a high level of autonomy who can comfortably challenge organisational boundaries to ensure successful project delivery.
