Job Title: Workday Analyst
About the Role
...This is a fantastic opportunity to join a major organization as a Workday Analyst to drive a critical HRIS transition. You will bridge the gap between legacy systems and modern infrastructure by managing the mapping, validation, and loading of essential worker, payroll, and time-tracking data into Workday ahead of a strict December go-live. This role is pivotal in ensuring data integrity during a high-stakes transition phase.
Key Criteria
Proven experience as a HCM Analyst or Business Analyst within large-scale system migrations.
Strong hands-on experience with Workday, specifically working with Workday data templates and population.
Background handling payroll, time-tracking, and absence data.
Demonstrated experience in data mapping, validation, and data loading.
Basic testing capabilities surrounding data validations.
Prior experience with Orion systems is highly regarded (but not mandatory).
Strong communication skills to collaborate during critical transition windows.
Key Responsibilities
Extract and analyze worker data currently sitting within the Orion legacy system.
Work extensively on generating and refining the required data reports.
Execute Workday-related mapping and validation tasks.
Populate and manage the data templates provided by Workday.
Conduct targeted testing around data validations to ensure accuracy.
Manage catch-up transitions and successfully load data into Workday in preparation for the December go-live.
