Our federal government client is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support the Chief Architect with the successful delivery of activities and upgrades by adding your expertise and knowledge to the design and implementation of components of the environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing input, and contributing, to the detailed designs to inform the delivery of the upgrades.
... As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be required to:
- Working closely with other disciplines within the delivery team to deliver the activities, and ensuring alignment to the overall architecture.
- Contributing to the detailed designs of the following technologies:
- Hypervisor – vendor agnostic as a result of Broadcomms recent changes.
- Out of Band Management;
- Endpoint Security
- DataCentre Fabric
- Data Protection and Backups
- Implementing solution aligning to the detailed design, change control and organisation procedures.
- Developing As-Built As-Configured documentation during implementation process.
The successful candidate must have:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an infrastructure engineer
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience managing hypervisor technologies.
- Minimum 2 years experience contributing to the successful outcome of ICT projects within a Federal Government environment.
- Demonstrated experience with Windows Server administration and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration and troubleshooting.
