- State Government Experience (in SA) is desirable

Key Responsibilities:
Business Partnerships: Establish strong working relationships with divisional teams to support HR initiatives and business objectives.
Proactive HR Support: Provide strategic HR services to help achieve business goals and improve performance across the department.
Generalist HR Advice: Offer practical, solutions-oriented advice on a range of workforce-related issues.
Legislative Compliance: Ensure the effective application and interpretation of employment legislation, particularly in a government context.
Skills & Experience:
Generalist HR Experience: Demonstrated experience in a generalist HR role, with the ability to manage a variety of HR functions.
Strong Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build effective relationships and offer sound advice to stakeholders at all levels.
Legislative Knowledge: Familiarity with employment legislation, preferably within a government setting.
Solution-Oriented: Capacity to provide practical, actionable solutions to HR challenges.
