Your New Role
Working within a dynamic People and Culture team, you will be instrumental in managing a variety of employee relations matters. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a trusted first point of contact for managers and employees on performance, conduct, and other employment-related issues.
- Providing end-to-end management of complex people management cases, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and internal policies.
- Coordinating the annual Performance Development Plan process, offering both strategic and operational support across the business.
- Building manager capability through the development and delivery of coaching, targeted projects, and strategic HR initiatives.
- Drafting high-quality briefing papers, correspondence, and communications.
- Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of HR policies and operational procedures.
- Building and maintaining effective, productive partnerships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Supporting the delivery of key projects aligned with the annual HR work plan.
- Maintaining timely, consistent, and accurate records.
What You Will Need to Succeed
We are looking for candidates with a strong foundation in human resources. While not essential, the ideal candidate will possess:
- Relevant HR qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in case management, employee relations, and managing performance and conduct issues.
- A comprehensive understanding of contemporary HR practices and relevant employment legislation.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders effectively.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to manage sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.
