This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading environmental services organisation with a great growth and development trajectory.
Working closely with the HR Manager this role will allow you to partner with a predominately blue collar client group and make a real difference in the day-to-day running of the business and overall employee experience.
This role will see you partnering, supporting and coaching management on key HR functions including Employee Relations and Employee Engagement. You will have the opportunity to build your Industrial Relations knowledge and gain exposure with working in a unionised environment.
This is a permanent full time position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with broad generalist requirements across the employee life cycle
- Provide input with projects, business plans and people policies and initiatives
- Help create, support and enable a workforce culture where people can thrive
- Guide & support managers on various employee relations issues
- Assist leaders in making informed decisions regarding people management and ensuring adherence to HR policies
- Actively promote a positive and consultative HR style in line with organisational strategy
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or equivalent
- 5+ years working experience in a generalist HR role
- Experience of interpreting Enterprise Agreements
- Proven experience in ER, and IR
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship building experience
