Estimating Administrator - Join Our Construction Team!

Are you a highly organised and detail-focused administrator with a knack for numbers and a passion for supporting a busy team? We're seeking an Estimating Administrator, playing a vital role in delivering accurate and competitive estimates for major construction projects.
About the Role
As our Estimating Administrator, you'll be the backbone of our Estimating Team, providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth flow of all tender-related activities. Your precision and efficiency will be key to helping us secure new projects with Major Builders.
Key Responsibilities You'll Own:
- Tender Management: Efficiently manage incoming tender documentation, prepare documents for estimating, and organise updated tender information.
- Documentation Flow: Control the flow of all incoming and outgoing tender documentation, ensuring all processing and administration requirements are met.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Professionally communicate and build rapport with internal teams (Estimators, Project Managers) and external partners (Clients, Suppliers, Builders, Developers).
- CRM & Reporting: Maintain our CRM software to accurately record opportunities and assist with preparing weekly notes for estimating meetings.
- Supplier Coordination: Support the procurement process by assisting with obtaining supplier pricing based on project specifications.
- Submission Support: Prepare and submit tender documents and samples to clients, and diligently follow up on tender submissions as required.
- General Administration: Handle client inquiries, respond to requests for tender, and assist with preparing Estimating Handover documents for the Project Team.

Essential Criteria:
- Proven Administration Experience: Solid experience in an administrative support role, demonstrating excellent organisational skills.
- MS Office Mastery: High proficiency across Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Familiarity with MS Project is a significant advantage.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and a meticulous approach to managing critical documentation and data.
- Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Proactive & Self-Motivated: A genuine desire to take initiative, solve problems, and contribute positively to a team environment.
- Relationship Builder: A cooperative spirit with a focus on client satisfaction, honesty, and integrity.
Preferred Criteria:
- An understanding of the construction industry would be highly regarded.
