As the Despatch Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for the smooth coordination of deliveries, re-deliveries, and pickups. You’ll manage a small team of drivers (both employees and contractors), maintain safety compliance, and respond to customer delivery queries — all while ensuring quality and service standards are met.
Lead your team to meet daily delivery requirements
Schedule and confirm all deliveries and pickups
Monitor and enforce safety practices and procedures
Resolve customer delivery issues and provide timely updates
Manage delivery systems and initiate invoicing processes
Train and develop team members for safe and effective performance
Monitor KPIs like DIFOT and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Minimum 2 year's experience in a despatch or logistics role
Prior experience leading or supervising a team
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Solid communication and customer service skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Experience in the window or construction products industry is a bonus

Randstad has Partnered with a national leader in the manufacture and delivery of windows and doors. We are seeking an experienced Despatch Team Leader to take charge of daily delivery operations.
As the Despatch Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for the smooth coordination of deliveries, re-deliveries, and pickups. You’ll manage a small team of drivers (both employees and contractors), maintain safety compliance, and respond to customer delivery queries — all while ensuring quality and service standards are met.
