About:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Cybersecurity Project Manager to join a leading enterprise organisation and drive a critical, large-scale security transformation. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of the Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) capability within the broader Dynamic Trust Program. The primary objective is to pivot the organization away from traditional, broad VPN-based access towards a precise, identity- and device-aware model.
You will lead a complex mix of technical implementation, application onboarding, operational readiness, and service transition, ensuring the new capability is fully integrated and sustainable for Business-As-Usual (BAU) operations.
Key Criteria for the Role
10+ years of experience in project management or program delivery within large, complex technology environments.
Proven track record delivering initiatives across cyber security, network security, infrastructure, identity and access management (IDAM), or secure remote access.
Deep practical understanding of Zero Trust principles, ZTNA, VPN replacement, endpoint compliance, and network segmentation.
Highly desirable experience with Netskope Private Access (NPA) or comparable secure access platforms.
Strong experience managing operational readiness, service transition, ServiceNow-enabled support processes, and BAU handovers.
Familiarity with IDAM controls, Entra ID/group-based access, MFA, and enterprise application access policies.
Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, enforce strict scope controls, and translate technical complexity into clear delivery decisions without needing to own the technical design.
Superb stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership, engineering SMEs, vendors, and cross-functional operational teams.
Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) or a tertiary degree in IT/Engineering/Business is highly desirable.
Key Relationships
Reporting Line: Program Manager / Portfolio Manager – Dynamic Trust / Network & Security Services
Internal Teams: Cyber Architecture, IDAM, End User Technology, ServiceNow platform teams, Service Desk, Citrix support, Application Owners, and Change & Communications.
External: Third-party delivery partners and technology vendors supporting ZTNA implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Execution: Lead end-to-end delivery of Netskope Private Access (NPA), maintaining an integrated plan that covers platform capability, user onboarding waves, and IDAM role alignment.
Scope & Dependency Management: Formulate clear boundaries between project deliverables and BAU responsibilities, challenging scope expansion and escalating unresolved technical dependencies through governance.
Operational Readiness: Drive the build-out of the ZTNA service model, ensuring the Service Desk and support teams have clear triage pathways, knowledge documentation, and integrated ServiceNow processes.
Risk & Compliance: Proactively manage technical, operational, and security risks associated with device compliance, application access, and publisher readiness to ensure outcomes match the strategic security intent.
Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate cross-team alignment and decision-making between technical engineering SMEs and business application owners, providing concise status and financial reporting to steering committees.
