Position Overview:
Randstad is currently recruiting for multiple Customer Consultant positions with one of Australia’s most reputable and trusted homegrown banks. In this role, you will assist customers via over the phone and digital messaging channels, delivering prompt, professional, and empathetic service. You’ll provide exceptional support to both new and existing customers, handling a wide range of enquiries from setting up new accounts to resolving missed payments and assisting with lost or stolen cards. As part of a customer-focused team, you’ll play a key role in creating positive experiences and ensuring every interaction is handled with care and efficiency.
- Pay rate: $35.86 per hour plus super
- Located in the Ipswich CBD (Ideal for Public Transport)
- Full time hours (37.5 hours)
- Rostering hours can fall between 8am and 9pm
- Full availability required Monday to Sunday - 7 day roster
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a high-quality customer experience by handling every interaction with empathy, patience, and resilience.
- Approach each customer situation with understanding, ensuring they feel heard, valued, and supported.
- Build rapport with customers through active listening, clear communication, and genuine engagement.
- Develop trusted and professional relationships by consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to foster customer loyalty and long-term satisfaction.
- Work within a team-focused environment that values collaboration, shared success, and mutual support.
- Contribute to a positive team culture by supporting colleagues and promoting open communication.
Skills/experience required:
- Prior experience in Customer Service Experience. Prior Call Centre experience is desirable but not essential.
- Exceptional communication and an eagerness to learn.
- Ability to collaborate with a team.
- Ability to build relationships and effectively engage with a diverse range of customers.
- A highly motivated individual, focused on achieving personal goals and actively supporting team success.
- Must be able to pass a criminal history check and anti Money Laundering Check to be successful for the role.
