Strong writing skills are essential. Candidates without formal training qualifications (TAE) will be supported through collaboration with experienced assessors. The role suits professionals who are self directed, detail oriented, and passionate about contributing to workforce development in renewables.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, review, and validate assessment tools and learning resources for electrical and engineering qualifications
Ensure content complies with national training package requirements and quality standards
Collaborate with assessors, product leads, and stakeholders to meet project milestones
Adapt resources for both online and print delivery, reflecting current industry practices
What We’re Looking For
Ideally vocational background in electrical or engineering trades with strong writing ability(preferred but not essential)
Familiarity with training packages and competency standards (TAE qualifications preferred but not essential)
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Flexibility to work one day per week on campus in Brisbane or Gold Coast

We’re looking for four skilled Content and Assessment Writers ideally with a background in electrical or engineering trades to support a major multi-million dollar project aimed at uplifting training in the renewable energy sector in Queensland! This role involves developing and refining vocational learning and assessment materials aligned with national training standards and industry requirements.
