Randstad are looking to speak with experienced Commercial Construction Forepersons that have worked on commercial projects for work in Southern Tasmania.
About the Opportunity
Due to a major commercial construction project that is due to start in the next 4-6 weeks in Hobart, which will include the construction of two fast food restaurants, a daycare centre and a petrol station, we are now looking to source experienced permanent Commercial Construction Forepersons to continue the success that has been achieved.
Working on this project, you will provide onsite direction to the construction teams as per scope and plans, complete site inspections, liaising with Project Manager, completing site documentation and other duties as required, with the project to run until February 2026 at this stage.
About you
This role is ideal for experienced Commercial Construction Forepersons that have extensive Australian experience in overseeing projects from start to finish, with the help of the management team.
To be considered for the role you must;
- Hold a Certificate III in Carpentry
- Have a minimum of 3 years experience working in a similar position
- Have demonstrated experience working on Commercial Construction projects
- Have the ability to lead construction teams to achieve expected outcomes
- Hold a high level of attention to detail and verbal communication skills
