You will play a key role in fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting best practice, and contributing to the overall well-being of residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong clinical leadership and guidance to nursing and care staff.
- Support the Registered Nurse in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualised care plans.
- Ensure clinical documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and reflects resident needs.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of clinical care and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the care team and with residents and their families.
- Contribute to the ongoing professional development of staff through mentorship and education.
- Participate in quality improvement activities and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Assist with the management of resources and ensure efficient service delivery.
About You:
- Current registration as a Enrolled Nurse with the AHPRA.
- Demonstrated experience in an aged care setting.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- A commitment to person-centered care and a passion for working with older adults.
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practice guidelines in aged care.
