Preparing and submitting detailed and accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects.
Interpreting project plans, scope of works, and other tender documents.
Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes.
Conducting site visits to assess project conditions and identify potential risks.
Working collaboratively with project managers and engineers to ensure a smooth transition from tender to project delivery.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience as a Civil Estimator, preferably within the Victorian civil construction market.
- Either a junior estimator seeking to learn and develop or a seasoned bids manager seeking a good working environment and freedom to work autonomously.
A strong understanding of civil construction methodologies, materials, and costs.
Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
