The role
We are seeking an organisational change and communications leader capable of working under limited direction to lead and embed change across a range of different ICT initiatives.
We are looking for a driven and talented professional who is an exemplary communicator, has a strong track record of achieving results, and who can quickly build effective working relationships. You will help develop the organisational change competency within the branch and guide and mentor less experienced staff.
- Develop change management plans for ICT Programs and projects
- Evaluate the impact of planned organisational change, including validating proposed change plans, strategies and actions with business stakeholders and Project Boards.
- Identify and manage anticipated resistance to change
- Lead change management work streams with a structured methodology / process
- Lead the development of communications relevant to change initiatives
- Provide coaching and training to employees at all levels
- Define success metrics and measure performance against these
- Provide reporting and other updates to management and project teams.
Requirements
- Develops the change management approach and a change management plan in collaboration with sponsors, users and project teams.
- Creates and implements action plans to ensure everything is ready for the change before going live.
- Acquires change management resources and develops their capabilities to deliver the required changes. Gathers feedback to allow timely improvements to the change management plan and approach.
- Develops and communicates tailored change management plans for senior stakeholder groups. Provides guidance and makes suggestions to support change sponsors.
- Assess risks and takes preventative action.
- Experience delivering change and negotiating stakeholders in a complex government, regulatory or legal organisation.
