They are now entering a new phase of growth. To keep pace, they are looking to transform the way they are manage data and workflows, moving from Excel-based processes to Airtable. This is where you come in.
About the role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Business Systems Lead – Digital Transformation (Airtable) to spearhead this critical migration.
This is not just a technical role. We need a change agent with technical chops — someone who can both design and build Airtable systems and push through resistance, persuade stakeholders, and set the governance that keeps systems working long after go-live. This person must bring grit, energy, and resilience, with the backbone to hold the line when old habits creep back in.
Key Responsibilities
Business Process Analysis & Design – Lead discovery sessions, map workflows, design “to-be” processes, and prioritise opportunities for Airtable transformation.
System Architecture, Development & Continuous Improvement – Design and deliver enterprise-level Airtable systems (databases, automations, interfaces, workflows, dashboards) in small, iterative increments.
- Governance & Deployment Management – Define and enforce deployment processes, testing protocols, and governance rules to keep Airtable the single source of truth.
- Training, Mentoring & Capability Building – Deliver training for staff, overseas teams, suppliers, and customers; mentor internal power users; create a process for safe contributions by others.
- Project & Change Management – Execute a phased roadmap, balance quick wins with long-term builds, and manage risks proactively.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication – Act as the bridge between internal staff, overseas offices, suppliers, and customers; communicate with clarity and persuasion.
- Post-Implementation Support & Optimisation – Monitor usage, collect feedback, and lead ongoing improvements through quarterly reviews.
About you:
- Proven experience leading system migration or digital transformation projects
- Strong technical skills in Airtable (advanced features, automations, interface design, iterative development)
- Expertise in business process mapping and workflow optimization
- Solid project management experience (Agile or hybrid iterative delivery preferred)
- Strong change management capabilities (ADKAR, Prosci, or equivalent frameworks)
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills; able to persuade, not just train
- Attention to detail and governance discipline (documentation, standards, access management)
