Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for end-to-end sales execution and account strategy for a portfolio of major accounts and prospects, specifically focused on:
Quota Achievement: Achieving challenging annual new business revenue targets and budgets.
Account Growth: Securing significant new business (upsell/cross-sell) within a nominated portfolio of major existing enterprise accounts.
New Logo Acquisition: Identifying and delivering on opportunities to acquire new name (logo) business.
Strategic Planning: Developing and executing comprehensive account plans and sales artefacts (e.g., blue sheet opportunity documents) for major targets.
Pipeline Management: Establishing, growing, and maintaining a robust sales pipeline, ensuring accurate and timely use of the sales CRM (Salesforce.com).
Client Engagement: Actively participating in client’s strategic business planning and decision-making processes to drive long-term partnership.
Bid Management: Leading the preparation and presentation of compelling sales presentations, proposals, tenders/bids, and negotiating commercial agreements.
What You'll Bring
We are looking for a highly accomplished professional who blends technical aptitude with commercial aggression.
Essential Skills & Traits:
Senior Sales Experience: Minimum 4+ years in dedicated business development or senior sales roles, selling complex solutions/services into large enterprise accounts.
Strategic Acumen: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to interact and persuade at a strategic level (C-Suite/Executive).
Commercial Focus: Strong commercial acumen and a refined customer service focus.
Problem Solver: A genuine interest in solving complex business issues through technology, innovation, BPO, and managed services.
Technical Appreciation: An appreciation of IT strategy and a fundamental working knowledge of concepts such as system design, IT infrastructure, database concepts, and programming.
Qualifications & Experience:
Relevant tertiary qualifications, preferably in an Information Technology or Business field.
Proven success in meeting/exceeding new business revenue quotas.
Current and valid Driver’s License (essential for client travel).
