Key Accountabilities:
Prepare timely and high-quality Ministerial and Government correspondence, including responses, briefings, speech notes, speeches, and messages that inform, support events, and address critical issues
Contribute to the successful delivery of projects by preparing, communicating, and reviewing written materials, ensuring seamless information flow across the Agency
Offer accurate and timely advice and support to management, the executive team, and key stakeholders to help them respond effectively to issues and information requests
Develop and maintain effective working relationships across the Agency to gather essential input for briefings and correspondence, coordinate deadlines, and uphold our high-quality standards
Collect, collate, and analyse diverse information to guarantee that all advice, reports, analysis, briefings, and correspondence are current, accurate, and reliable
Assist with reporting on key projects, issues, and processes to keep management and the Minister's Office fully informed
Participate in analyzing situations and issues, exploring options, and contributing to strategic approaches to help our executive team manage related risks
Monitor, implement, and evaluate administrative practices and procedures within the team to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
Prepare guidelines and procedures for correspondence, briefings, and Parliamentary processes, and contribute to staff training
Key Requirements:
Proven ability to develop succinct, clear, and direct written responses and briefings that balance competing stakeholder priorities and perspectives
Excellent skills in collecting and collating information from various sources, including maintaining effective contact with communities and other agencies, to ensure accurate and complete information
The capacity to respond quickly to changing circumstances and challenging deadlines, completing work to agreed timeframes and standards in an environment with competing priorities and high expectations
The ability to exercise judgement, discretion, and maintain confidentiality when liaising with staff from the Minister's office, other government agencies, and diverse stakeholders
