We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Bid/Capture Manager to join the team. This pivotal role involves supporting the pursuit of new business opportunities, managing the end-to-end bid process, and ensuring proposals align with client needs and organisational goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough market and competitive analysis to identify potential business opportunities.
- Collaborate with various departments, such as sales, marketing, programs and product development, to ensure a cohesive approach to capturing new business.
- Oversee the bid process, from pre-solicitation through proposal submission, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and deadlines.
- Assist negotiation efforts with clients and partners to secure contracts that align with business goals.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of capture strategies and processes, making adjustments as needed to improve future outcomes.
- To prepare and present bid proposals and opportunities to executives and to manage through the stage gate /approval process.
- Develop, maintain and manage standard bid and offer documentation and supporting artefacts.

Qualifications and Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in project management or a similar field are advantageous.
- Proven ability in delivering winning, high-value product or services opportunities. Experience in solution selling and bid management from opportunity identification through to project delivery.
- Strong people management, commercial skills, and the ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines. Excellent communication skills and comfort working at CEO/Director level (internal and external customers).
- Familiarity with the competitive marketplace, internal governance procedures, and legislation around the use of AI in bid management.
In order to be considered for this role, Australian citizenship is essential in order to be eligible for Defence clearances!
