Key Responsibilities:
- Accommodation Management: Coordinate office maintenance, repairs, and refurbishments, ensuring the space is fit for purpose and compliant with regulations. You'll serve as the main point of contact for any building-related issues or emergency responses.
- Operational Expertise: Provide well-informed advice to staff on matters related to property, facilities, and security frameworks. You will also deliver in-house security training and help foster a positive risk culture.
- Stakeholder Management: Build productive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including service providers, contractors, and building management representatives.
- Support: Assist with work point allocations, coordinate special events, and support staff with facilities and WHS issues.
About you:
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of best practices in property, facility, risk, and asset management, guided by government legislation and guidelines.
- Leadership: Proven ability to take a leadership role during service disruptions or emergencies, using sound judgment and problem-solving skills to address issues.
- Managerial Skills: Well-developed managerial and organizational skills, including the ability to set priorities, coordinate meetings, and conduct inquiries and research.
- Communication: High-level interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the capacity to communicate with tact and maintain productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Adaptability: The ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and handle office layout and fit out changes.
- Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze data, maintain accurate records, including conducting stocktakes of assets, and provide effective responses to information requests.
Please note: You MUST be an Australian Citizen to be eligible for the position. An Australian Federal Police Check, and a Negative Vetting Level 2 security clearance will be highly regarded.
