Are you an organised and proactive problem solver with a passion for delivering high-quality business services? A Federal Government organisation based in Geelong is seeking a skilled APS5 Property Officer to join their Corporate Services team.
This is a key operational role supporting property and corporate service functions across a large portfolio. You’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day property activities, engaging with third-party providers, and contributing to internal planning and process improvement initiatives.
The position requires regular physical attendance, with a minimum of 4 days per week in the office, though a hybrid working model may be considered.
Coordinate and monitor third-party providers across property, shared services, and general operations.
Respond to property and corporate service-related enquiries from internal staff.
Contribute to team planning, task allocation, and progress monitoring.
Manage the supply and delivery of consumables and stationery across multiple locations.
Oversee carpark ballots and fleet vehicle coordination.
Assist in developing and maintaining policies and procedures, escalating issues as required.
Provide general operational support for fleet, mail, and broader service functions.
We’re looking for someone who:
Is accountable, organised, and confident making independent decisions in their area of responsibility.
Can provide advice and interpret policy within their area of specialisation.
Is comfortable working with incomplete information and can navigate ambiguity.
Communicates clearly and can resolve moderately complex to complex stakeholder enquiries.
Builds strong working relationships with internal teams and external providers.
Experience in property management or a corporate services environment.
Familiarity with public sector processes and service delivery models is an advantage.
