• Provide advice and assistance on policy and procedural documents in a specialised work area
• Assess and analyse Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) applications
• Prepare accurate and timely case summaries to support ART case management
• Maintain accurate records and file supporting documentation in relevant business systems
• Prepare and lodge tribunal documents in compliance with statutory timeframes
• Provide support in managing interlocutory applications, including instructing internal legal representatives
• Identify and manage risks, including privacy and urgency considerations
• Draft responses for complaints, ministerial correspondence, and other documentation
• Contribute to the training and mentoring of new team members
• Ensure work aligns with legislative and procedural frameworks

Key Capabilities

• Strong analytical and assessment skills for reviewing ART applications
• High attention to detail in recordkeeping and document preparation
• Ability to manage and prioritise multiple competing tasks under tight deadlines
• Knowledge of administrative decision-making within statutory frameworks
• Experience in preparing formal legal or tribunal documentation
• Risk assessment capabilities, particularly in relation to privacy and sensitive matters
• Strong legal research and writing skills for complaints and formal correspondence
• Proven ability to support legal case preparation and procedural matters
• Mentoring and coaching capability for new staff
• Competence in using case management and recordkeeping systems
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated professionalism, ethical conduct, and accountability
