Introduction:
We are currently recruiting an Accounts Payable/ Receivable Officer on a permanent basis for a leading commercial organisation. They are a leading name in the industry and show significant growth by offering world class services to their customers. It's a fast paced, driven and collaborative environment, working in the finance division, where the colleagues are engaged, aware, friendly and value encouraging ideas.
You will report to the CFO.
Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day transactional accounting tasks, including data entry, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including reconciling bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
- Conduct regular financial analysis and generate reports for management, highlighting key financial indicators and trends.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial controls and procedures are followed.
- Stay up-to-date with accounting principles and regulations to ensure compliance.

- Proven experience in the accounting domain for over 5 years.
- Proficiency in using MYOB
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Studying towards CA/ CPA
