We’re seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Brand Officer (APS5 level) to join a dynamic marketing team within a Federal Government organisation based in Geelong. About the Role

The Brand Officer will provide technical, administrative, and strategic brand support within a busy, purpose-driven marketing team.You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to uphold brand integrity and contribute to initiatives that deliver real social impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of brand policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.

• Track and follow up on trademark breaches and brand misuse across the organisation.

• Promote consistency across all brand touchpoints – including TV, digital, design, social media, website, UX, service design, engagement channels, and provider/partner communications.

• Develop and manage a data asset system to track brand asset usage and consent alignment.

• Audit template usage externally to maintain branding consistency.

• Provide marketing administration support, including:

  • Coordinating corporate photoshoots with participants and photographers.

  • Managing the shared marketing inbox – triaging and responding to enquiries.

  • Sourcing, briefing, and managing suppliers, including contracts and budgets.

  • Conducting desktop research and tracking marketing campaign spend.

About You

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:

• Qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in branding, marketing, or communications.

• Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.

• Exposure to and experience in brand and trademark governance (desirable).
