We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity with a federal government client for the position of APS4 Budget Management Support Planner. This role offers a chance to be part of a team making a real difference, supporting effective plan management within a high-impact government program.
Working under general direction, you'll contribute to the achievement of key planning outcomes by applying established policies, procedures, and legislative guidelines. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong administrative background and a keen eye for detail.
Analyse participant records to make informed funding decisions aimed at reducing overspending
Engage with participants and their representatives via phone to understand current circumstances and spending patterns
Maintain accurate and high-quality records in internal systems in line with standard operating procedures
Research and review decisions while managing moderately complex cases with support
Complete administrative and data entry tasks related to participant planning
Help the team meet planning targets and key performance indicators
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency with IT systems and data management
Ability to interpret and apply policy and procedural guidance
A team-oriented, proactive, and flexible mindset
