RTO Administration: Correctly perform student enrolments, maintain accurate records of course progress, assist workplace coaches, and provide input into improving RTO resources.
Stakeholder Engagement: Actively represent ALPA with community leaders, local government, schools, and business operators when working in remote settings.
Culture & Safety: Be a champion of the ALPA values and demonstrate a strict commitment to work health and safety.
What You Will Need to Bring
Qualifications: TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent) is mandatory , alongside a Certificate III or higher in Retail, Community Services, Foundation Skills, First Aid, or Construction.
Training Experience: Demonstrated experience working as a trainer in retail, community services, foundation skills, first aid, white card, or directly with First Nations learners.
Blended Learning Tech: Experience utilising a broad range of software including learning management systems (LMS), student management systems, video conferencing, and the Microsoft Office suite.
Communication Skills: Highly effective interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt your written and oral communication to meet the needs of people from all education levels and language backgrounds.
Licensing: An unrestricted NT C class driver's license (or the ability to quickly obtain one).
Cultural Alignment: Cultural awareness, respect, and a genuine commitment to working effectively with First Nations communities.
Desirable Criteria: Experience working in the Northern Territory or within a remote community, industry experience in retail/community services, and a willingness to upskill across all qualifications offered by ALPA's RTO.
