Gain valuable experience supporting workforce operations at an immigration detention centre, ensuring effective staffing and resource allocation to maintain security and operational efficiency. You will play a key role in managing rosters, monitoring workforce trends, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to support a well-structured and responsive workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, manage, and adjust work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and operational efficiency.
• Monitor attendance, process leave requests, and assist with onboarding to support smooth workforce management.
• Maintain accurate workforce records, prepare detailed reports, and analyse trends to identify areas for improvement and enhance efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with workplace policies, labour laws, and confidentiality requirements to maintain a fair and legally compliant work environment.
• Serve as a key point of contact between employees and management, addressing workforce-related inquiries, resolving scheduling conflicts, and facilitating clear communication.
  
  

Desirable Attributes:

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills for effective workforce coordination.
• Previous experience in workforce planning or a similar role is preferred.
• Proficient computer skills and the ability to use various software programs.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
