HR Partners is representing a reputable logistics business in Western Sydney for a Work Health & Safety Business Partner. This role is instrumental in ensuring the site maintains a strong commitment to continuous improvement of safety, health and environmental culture, standards, systems and processes.
With site leadership you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Setting, implementing and monitoring safety, health and environment improvement plans and agreed initiatives,
- Injury management
- Early intervention programs to support those team members injured at work
- Workers compensation case management
Requirements for the role include:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in implementing safety programs in Logistics and or blue collar environments
- Formal diploma or above education in Occupational (Work) Health and Safety depending on the state employed
- Behaviour based safety programs
- Significant experience in workplace-based rehabilitation and return to work injury management
- Incident Investigation including root cause analysis
- Sound problem solving and analytical reasoning; able to manage uncertainty, risk and complexity with courage and proactive responsibility
