As the WHS Advisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring best practice health, safety, and environmental standards are embedded into day-to-day site operations. You’ll partner closely with managers, team leaders, and front-line workers to enhance safety behaviours, deliver impactful training, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
This is a hands-on, high-visibility position — perfect for someone who enjoys being out on the floor, leading toolbox talks one day, and working on strategic compliance initiatives the next.
What You’ll Be Doing
Develop, implement and refine site safety policies and procedures
Coach leaders and safety reps to build ownership of WHS responsibilities
Lead safety investigations, audits, and risk assessments across site
Manage incident reporting processes and ensure close-out of actions
Facilitate WHS compliance across systems, documentation and training
Coordinate RTW activities and on-site health programs
Design and deliver targeted WHS training programs for the workforce
Monitor and influence key safety KPIs and drive improvement projects
Lead site safety meetings and embed a culture of proactive safety ownership
Liaise with external bodies and ensure timely response to regulatory actions
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a WHS-focused role within manufacturing, logistics, or another high-risk sector
Strong understanding of Australian WHS legislation and ISO/OHSAS standards
Proven ability to drive change and positively influence safety behaviours
Skilled at delivering training and mentoring team members across levels
Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
