Join a pivotal Victorian Government Department and help shape the future of how Victorians interact with their government. We're on a mission to simplify and digitise essential services, making them seamless and effortless for everyone. If you're a passionate Senior Product Designer with a knack for creating intuitive, user-centric experiences, we want to hear from you!
About The Department
This Department was established on January 1, 2023, with a clear mandate: to significantly enhance every Victorian's experience of engaging with the government. We achieve this by centralising and digitising crucial day-to-day services, ensuring interactions are as easy and streamlined as possible for both individuals and businesses. This involves connecting and integrating systems and platforms across state and local government, as well as optimising our corporate and procurement processes.
We are the embodiment of Public Sector leadership, upholding and demonstrating the core values adopted from the Public Administration Act 2004: Leadership, Integrity, Responsiveness, Impartiality, Accountability, Respect, and Commitment to Human Rights.
The Citizen and Business Tribe within the Department is at the forefront of this transformation. This team is responsible for the design and development of a key Victorian government website, customer communications, navigation, and personalisation. Our work spans a wide range of critical applications, including various checks, licenses, and support programs. We are dedicated to creating low/no touch, effortless interactions that follow universally accessible patterns, ensuring everyone can access the services they need.
