Reporting to the Team Leader, Workforce & Capability, the successful candidate will be a part of a dynamic and high-paced team that provides a wide range of HR advisory functions to support the Energy group. This position contributes to a broad range of projects and services to enable high-quality workforce management and provides operational workforce services that enable and enhance organisational capability. The Project Officer must be highly organised, solutions-focused, and able to multitask across a diverse range of HR topics with a strong focus on customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide responsive advice to staff on a range of HR, recruitment, and employment-related issues in line with policy and procedural requirements.
- Contribute to and support a broad range of projects and services to proactively manage workforce activities across the group.
- Draft a range of written material, reports, and briefs to support key projects, change management initiatives, and HR-specific programs.
- Proactively consult with internal stakeholders to build relationships and support the development of practical solutions.
- Monitor and analyse workforce reporting to inform workforce planning activities.
- Identify and implement improvements to workforce processes and procedures.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in providing HR advice and/or leading recruitment initiatives.
- Experience in the implementation of HR projects.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and attention to detail to resolve issues and apply problem-solving concepts in the right context.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including monitoring client satisfaction and constructively dealing with issues.
- Capability in drafting written material/briefs is highly regarded, including experience working on, reviewing, or starting briefs.
- Outcomes-focused approach with a sense of purpose to achieve strategic direction.
