We are looking for a highly experienced and technically focused professional to act as a Technical Lead for our Planning Analytics (TM1) platform. This is not a functional or development role. Instead, you'll be responsible for the full technical management of our TM1 environment, ensuring its reliability, stability, and operational soundness. You will provide strategic oversight, technical direction, and hands-on expertise to a range of stakeholders and teams.
Core Responsibilities
... - Platform Strategy & Governance: You'll define the future roadmap, strategy, and maintenance plan for our TM1 platform. You will establish and enforce technical standards, best practices, and processes to ensure high-quality and maintainable solutions that support risk and compliance.
- Technical Leadership & Support: As a subject matter expert, you'll lead the resolution of complex issues, providing technical support and expert advice to the wider IT community, business stakeholders, and vendors. You'll review and recommend new development techniques and vendor products to keep our technology stack current.
- End-to-End Project Delivery: You'll be instrumental in the end-to-end delivery of technical initiatives. This includes providing high-level solution design, delivering cost estimates, and liaising with project teams (including business analysts, architects, and suppliers) to ensure strong relationships and a shared understanding of project goals.
- Continuous Improvement: You will stay informed on industry trends and technical advancements, using this knowledge to recommend strategic changes that improve our application landscape and business outcomes.
What We Need
- Experience: More than 10 years of experience in IT with a focus on systems design, development, support, and end-to-end delivery.
- TM1 Expertise: Proven expertise with the full TM1 Planning Analytics technical stack, including its components (PAW, Perspectives, Architect, etc.).
Core Technical Skills:
- DevOps: Hands-on experience with tools like Git, Bitbucket, and Artifactory.
- Integration: Knowledge of real-time and batch systems integration using file-based methods and APIs.
- Systems & Infrastructure: Foundational knowledge of Unix & Windows operating systems, Oracle & SQL databases, web/app servers, cloud platforms, and networking.
- Methodology: Full SDLC experience with both Agile and Waterfall frameworks.
- Soft Skills: Advanced problem-solving, analytical, and consultative skills, with excellent communication (both written and verbal). You must have a proven ability to lead technical teams and collaborate with vendors.
