The Tech Lead will coordinate technical team efforts towards successful delivery, maintaining high standards of quality within the team.

The Tech Lead will contribute to the development and deployment of solutions and manage technical improvement initiatives to:

• Ensure that project goals are met and solutions delivered are of high quality.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for successful project results.
• Collaborate with engineers, developers, business analysts, and architects to plan, design, develop, test, deploy and maintain applications.
• Maintain high standards of quality in the program by establishing good practices & habits.
• Achieve a Whole of Government view of process and solutions.

Technical Skills and Knowledge

1. Architectural and Solution Design Experience: Extensive experience in IT architecture, solution design, or a related field, with a proven track record in remediating legacy applications and developing solutions using Microsoft technologies.
2. Technical Leadership: Highly skilled Technical Lead with and high technical acumen and advanced knowledge and experience in platform development, deployments & maintenance, solution design, stakeholder management and root cause analysis.
3. Platform & Environment Management: Proven experience in platform orchestration, implementation and management.
4. Microsoft Systems Expertise: Proven experience with Microsoft systems, including .NET, Windows Server, MS-SQL (SSIS & SSRS) and Active Directory.
5. Microsoft Development Expertise: Proven experience developing with Microsoft technologies such as such as VB.Net, C#, ASP.Net and JavaScript.
6. Azure DevOps Experience: Demonstrated experience working on projects using Azure DevOps including source control (repository) and pipelines.
7. Vendor Management: Proven experience working with external vendors and suppliers, ensuring their deliverables meet the Territory’s requirements.
