About the Role
Our client is a NSW government organisation based in Parramatta NSW. They are currently seeking a Taxation Advisory Officer to come in and work with them on a Part time temp contract opportunity until 29th August 2026.

Candidates for this role must have:
- Proven experience in Australian taxation compliance experience
- Demonstrated understanding of the Australian Tax Office (ATO) legislative requirements
- Experience working in a "high-volume" environment where meeting deadlines and maintaining data integrity is critical
- Previous government experience (Desirable)
Key responsibilities:
- Preparation of high-volume individual, trust and estate tax returns
- Checking notice of assessments
- Answering income tax queries
- Responding to ATO correspondences
About You
You will be an experienced Tax Advisory/Compliance professional with proven experience and reliability in previous positions.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in Australian taxation compliance experience
- Demonstrated understanding of the Australian Tax Office (ATO) legislative requirements
- Experience working in a "high-volume" environment where meeting deadlines and maintaining data integrity is critical
- Previous government experience (Desirable)
