About the Role:
Reporting to the Manager People and Talent Acquisition, the successful candidate will provide essential, hands-on support across the People and Talent Acquisition functions, with a key focus on recruitment delivery and managing general inquiries. This is an urgent, short-term contract requiring an immediate start in December.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver end-to-end resourcing and recruitment services, including managing advertising, screening, and assessment processes.
- Monitor and triage or respond to a wide range of People and Recruitment inquiries via dedicated inboxes.
- Provide first-level interpretation and guidance on the application of terms and conditions outlined in the Enterprise Agreement for employee life cycle events (e.g., contract variations, parental leave, higher duties, leave).
- Issue essential employee documentation, including contract variations, and manage onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Update and maintain records and databases (including the Applicant Tracking System - Springboard) to ensure all information is accurately stored and accessible.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Essential experience using the Springboard applicant tracking system is a must-have.
- Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end recruitment and resourcing services, preferably within a Government environment.
- Experience in applying and interpreting Enterprise Agreements or relevant industrial instruments to HR life cycle events.
- Tertiary qualifications in human resource management or relevant experience is well regarded.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
