The Role
The candidate must be an experienced Senior Test Analyst, with ideally 3+ years' experience, to join a small, but established, testing team. The candidate will lead system testing exercises, undertake software testing using a range of tools and processes and coordinate user acceptance testing for project and BAU work.
... Key duties and responsibilities
The Senior Test Analyst will;
- Design, implement and manage quality assurance testing activities to provide an overall recommendation on software quality.
- Provide testing services through analysis of the requirement, test design, test execution and management of defects. Perform, examine and report on the responsiveness and stability of systems and their components under workloads.
- Work on current and future projects including but not limited to data, service management platforms, cloud services and ad-hoc testing.
Essential criteria
- At least 3+ years as a Senior Test Analyst
- Demonstrated experience in performing structured and context-driven (formal/ad-hoc) system, system integration and regression testing in a complex IT environment using test management and defect tracking tool(s) to document test cases, record test case execution results and record & track defects
- Experience in coordinating user acceptance testing
- Good interpersonal skills/teamwork skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and oral form with a range of people including user acceptance testers and developers
- Demonstrated experience with automated testing using the Tosca tool
Desirable criteria
- Worked on a complex project
- Experience in and ability to undertake application and SOE infrastructure testing as required, under limited supervision
