Position: Site Manager | $5M – $30M Institutional & Government Projects
Randstad has partnered with an award winning commercial builder to appoint an experienced Site Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of institutional, government, and community projects. Operating across Melbourne’s western suburbs, this role is designed for a technical expert who excels in structured environments and possesses a dedicated focus on safety and delivery excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight: Direct all on-site activities from inception to completion, ensuring seamless project execution.
Subcontractor Management: Lead and supervise diverse trades and site personnel to maintain high performance and accountability.
Compliance & Safety: Uphold rigorous OH&S standards and ensure all government-mandated quality requirements are met.
Program Delivery: Drive construction schedules, proactively resolve site-based issues, and ensure project milestones are achieved within budget.
Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a primary point of contact for consultants, inspectors, and project stakeholders.
Professional Requirements:
Demonstrated experience as a Site Manager within the institutional or government sectors in Victoria.
Comprehensive understanding of construction programming, budget management, and multi-priority workflows.
Relevant trade background or tertiary qualification in Construction Management.
Strong leadership capabilities with a solutions-oriented, autonomous work ethic.
