Key Responsibilities Include:
- Developing and maintaining key contacts with strategic decision-makers (technical, purchasing, operations, and commercial teams).
- Planning and conducting customer sales calls, preparing reports on territorial highlights, industry activities, and competitive movements.
- Promoting products and leveraging a "Challenger Sales mindset".
- Developing and implementing annual sales plans, including financial targets and key projects.
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive Key Account Plans.
- Identifying and logging new opportunities and business threats, and driving winning strategies.
- Managing customer price lists and communicating sales forecasts.
- Collaborating with internal teams to manage customer problems.
What We're Looking For:
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a Technical/Science field.
- Demonstrated sales skills, commercial business acumen, and strong lubes/fuels industry knowledge, typically acquired through 10 years of experience in sales roles of increasing responsibility.
- An advanced relevant degree (e.g., MBA) and prior sales experience in the petrochemical, additive, or petroleum industry are preferred.
- Effective oral and written communication, presentation skills, and the ability to organize technical information to meet customer needs.
- Strong initiative, creativity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- A basic understanding of sales principles, theories, practices, and the petroleum additive market and competitive environment.
- Knowledge of industry specifications, refinery operations, and processes.
- Ability to travel as required within ANZ and regionally.
