In this high-impact role, you'll take the lead on complex, large-scale building projects — overseeing everything from early planning to practical completion. If you thrive on-site, excel at managing contractors and consultants, and have a deep understanding of construction delivery in the public sector — we want to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
...Leading the end-to-end delivery of major capital works projects ($40M–$200M)
Overseeing day-to-day site activity and contractor performance, ensuring timelines, safety, and quality are maintained
Managing procurement, tendering, contract administration, and reporting functions
Acting as the Superintendent’s Representative for Council on major builds
Providing strategic reporting and insights to Executive teams and Project Sponsors
Ensuring governance, change management, and compliance frameworks are met
What You’ll Bring
Demonstrated experience delivering complex building infrastructure projects in Australia, ideally within local government or similar
Proven ability to manage projects on-site daily, with strong hands-on experience in construction delivery
Background in project management and facility management with excellent stakeholder and contractor engagement skills
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related fields
Current White Card and Victorian Driver’s Licence
