Our Client is looking for a Senior Project Engineer to coordinate engineering activities within their Utilities division. You will ensure timely, cost-effective project delivery while maintaining high standards of safety and client satisfaction. This role involves leading site teams, managing project finances, and occasionally stepping into Project Manager responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and update project schedules and three-week look-aheads.
• Identify contractual risks, prepare variations, and review subcontractor claims.
• Implement cost-effective construction methodologies and monitor margins.
• Ensure all materials and services meet QA requirements and technical specs.
• Lead a proactive safety culture through pre-starts and risk assessments.
Requirements
• Bachelor of Engineering (accredited by Engineers Australia).
• Formal Project Management accreditation (AIPM, PMP, or equivalent).
• 7+ years of experience in Construction, specifically Civil or Utilities.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders and complex project budgets.
