• Major Package Management: Lead the procurement and delivery of high-value sub-contractor packages (Structure, Services, and Facade) exceeding several million dollars.

• Project Controls: Monitor the project schedule closely, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure the $50M+ program remains on track.

• Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, track variations, and provide detailed cost-to-complete reporting to the Project Manager.

• Technical Excellence: Review complex shop drawings and technical specifications to ensure "best-in-class" delivery and compliance with Australian Standards.

• Leadership: Mentor and supervise Project Engineers and Site Engineers, ensuring clear communication across the project lifecycle.

• Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a key point of contact for consultants, architects, and clients to ensure project alignment.

About You

We are looking for a strategic thinker with a "boots-on-the-ground" work ethic. To be successful, you will need:

• Proven Track Record: A minimum of 5–8 years of experience in building construction, specifically having delivered projects valued at $50M+.

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

• Commercial Acumen: Strong experience in contract administration, scope gaps, and commercial negotiations.

• Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of modern construction methodologies and project management software (e.g., Procore, Aconex, or MS Project).

• Leadership Skills: A natural ability to lead a team and manage diverse subcontractor groups under tight deadlines.
