Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the package owner for the civil works, taking full ownership of all civil components of the project
- Prepare, track and manage all submittals related to civil works, ensuring timely approval with project timelines
- Assist with the procurement and installation of civil components
- Monitor and maintain quality standards during the installtion of civil systems by close coordination with the site team, conducting site inspections as required
- Develop ITP's and checklists to support quality assurance
- Oversee the planning and execution of civil project activities, assiting timely delivery and cost-effective implementation within approved budget
- Provide technical guidance to project managers, site teams and contractors on all aspects of civil works
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (accredited by Engineers Australia if obtained overseas)
- Over 5 years experience working on civil construction projects, including at least 3 years on civil projects in Australia
- Strong awareness of Australian civil standards and safety regulations
- Excellent time management, orghanisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Clear and confident communicator, with strong active listening skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Skilled in industry-standard engineering software, particularly AutoCAD
This role will be based at either Northern Beaches or Macquarie Park offices. The project is based overseas in Solomon Islands, therefore, there will be a requirement for the individual to travel to Honiara 2-3 times per year.
Only candidates with strong experience working on civil projects in Australia for 3+ years will be considered for this role.
