... Are you a seasoned project professional with a passion for creating impactful environments for communities across Queensland? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Principal Project Coordinator to join the Infrastructure Delivery and Operations Branch within the Infrastructure Services Division. This is a unique opportunity to lead and manage multiple complex building projects from the initial planning stages through to completion.
Your Opportunity:
As a Principal Project Coordinator, you will be at the forefront of modernizing and optimizing facilities across Queensland. You will work directly with clients and service providers to oversee a diverse portfolio of complex building projects, with values ranging from $5 million to $100 million. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and coordinating all aspects of project and program delivery, including managing financial and human resources.
- Developing and maintaining critical relationships with clients, stakeholders, and service providers to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Leading and reporting on key sub-programs and significant projects within the Investment Program.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and frameworks, including WHS and procurement guidelines.
What We're Looking For:
My client is seeking a professional who demonstrates a strong capability in delivering government infrastructure projects and has a solid understanding of the Project Assessment and/or Building Policy Framework. You will have proven experience in managing substantial volumes of documentation and possess strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage with individuals in high-pressure environments.
Desired Qualifications:
A Certificate III or IV in Building and Construction, or a degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Project Management, or a related discipline is highly desirable.

- Location: Brisbane
- Travel: The role requires regular travel to schools throughout the month, with occasional overnight stays.
Onboarding: Initial onboarding will involve approximately five days in the office, subject to location.
