• Conducting a comprehensive assessment of the dashboard’s structure and performance.
• Analysing the existing dashboard environment to identify issues, propose, and implement effective solutions.
• Developing end-to-end operational documentation to support functionality and usability.
• Performing rigorous quality assurance to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Assessing the dashboard layout and providing recommendations for best-practice improvements.
• Implementing proactive monitoring mechanisms, including alerts for service failures.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive expertise in PowerBI, covering data ingestion, transformation, modelling, visualisation, optimisation, and governance.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate datasets from multiple sources.
• Proven track record in designing scalable and efficient dashboards
• Strong skills in implementing best-practice security, access controls, and performance tuning.
• Ability to document workflows and create comprehensive user guides.
• Experience in setting up proactive monitoring mechanisms to ensure operational integrity.

Required skills:

DGov requires a single resource to provide these Services onsite at 2 Havelock Street West Perth, on a 37.5 hour working week basis. The number of hours required is based on DGov’s operational requirements.

The resource provided to deliver the Services will require the following skills, knowledge, and experience:

• Advanced expertise in Power BI, including Data Analysis Expressions (DAX), Power Query, and dashboard/report development.

• Extensive experience managing complex, multi-source datasets, including integration with AWS services such as S3, Glue, Athena, Lambda, and Microsoft Flow.

• Strong capabilities in dashboard design and performance optimization to enhance usability and efficiency.

• Proven ability to analyse data effectively, supporting decision-making and service performance improvements.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience in implementing proactive monitoring, including service failure alerts to maintain system reliability.
