About your new role
Senior People and Culture Business Partners will play a key role in guiding complex employee matters, such as investigations and conflict resolution. Working closely with the Manager of People Services and the Senior Workplace Relations Specialist, they will help drive organisation-wide change initiatives. Their deep understanding of the business will enable them to deliver practical, strategic people solutions that support strong organisational outcomes and reduce risk.
What you will need to exceed
... - Proven experience in a senior HR business partner or similar generalist role, ideally within a large or complex organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to advise on and manage a wide range of HR functions, including performance development, recruitment, workforce planning, and change management
- Skilled in conducting and leading disciplinary investigations in line with legislation and organisational policy.
- Ability to implement practical change management strategies while supporting leaders and staff through transitions.
- Strong experience managing complex employee relations issues such as misconduct, grievances, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.
- Strong relationship-building skills with a consultative and collaborative approach.
- Confident in delivering difficult messages and supporting capability development among managers.
Desirable
- Degree qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field
- Experience in the Victorian Public Sector or a similar government environment would be highly regarded.
